PC specs for juiced maps
What kind of PC do I need to be able to play double or triple beyond? My laptop is fine for normal gameplay. But when the screen clutter gets out of control, even a reasonably tanky character would die to the lag.

PoE engine is modern, lean and fast™ and it's also a custom engine, i.e. it has no support from the video driver developers and so it can perform unpredictably bad at any particular hardware configuration.
Triple beyond on a juiced map is a huge server-side stress, the lag is barely related to your PC spec. You'd likely need 12(16) threads CPU (9-10th generation of desktop Intel, or at least 3000-th series AMD Ryzen) GPU choice depends on resolution you'd like to use. I'd say for 1080p the minimal GPU is AMD RX5700 or Nvidia 2060S. PoE client instance require at least 4Gb VRAM and about 7Gb dedicated RAM. Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything Result: depressing mess |
