Vulkan API on Win 8.1 (Only for AMD Cards)
Vulkan API Working on Windows 8.1 (Only for AMD Cards) but you need download drivers (win7-radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-edition-20.9.1-sep29)
1) run the installer from Win 7 compatibility and unpack it into the C:/AMD/ folder 2) then you need to go to the device manager to find there video adapter from AMD 3) click on it to update the drivers 4) click on the search and install drivers manually 5) then select the driver from the list of existing ones 6) click on install from disk 7) click the review, go to the folder C:\AMD\Win7-Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-2020-Edition-20.9.1-Sep29\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF\ 8) select C7359161 and click ok. after installing the driver, restart the PC, after rebooting the pc, go to the radeon settings and see what the vulkan is installed after that go into the game on the initial screen change Dx11 to the Vulkan Api, click save and play sample video

for Radeon Settings to work correctly, you need to 1) go to the folder C:\AMD\Win7-Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-2020-Edition-20.9.1-Sep29\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF\B358802 2) find the executable file ccc2_install there and install it 3) go to the folder C:\AMD\WU-CCC2\ccc2_install\VC17RTx64 install this redist VC_redist.x64 4) then go back C:\AMD\WU-CCC2\ccc2_install\ find and install the WULaunchApp.exe file, then run the LaunchWLApp executable package from the administrator 5) after all the procedures, go to the metro (press the Windows button), press the down arrow and find AMD Radeon Software there and run it. that's all you can use the full new Radeon Settings ---------------------------------------------------------- I hope I helped you))) and do not update the drivers until the next WHQL release under Win7 (driver update is only possible in this way) Last edited by Dreamnorth22#2542 on Nov 29, 2020, 10:19:21 PM Last bumped on Nov 29, 2020, 7:39:40 PM
