Allocating Tranquility

Hi, i just bought Presence of Chayula with "Allocates Tranquility", but now what do i do? i equipted it and nothing changes. i also dont see the skill on my passive skilltree. It also doesnt show on Path of Building as allocated.

so my question is: how do i activate it or check if its active?

Thanks :-)

Tranquility
"
Tranquility is a notable passive skill that grants increased maximum energy shield and Transfiguration of Soul.

Transfiguration of Soul applies increases and reductions to Maximum Energy Shield to also affect Spell Damage at 30% of their value.

It is only available by anointing an item (amulet or Blight-specific unique that has the help text: "This item can be anointed by Cassia")
im affraid i cant thank you for that quote since it doesnt answer my question in any way

Actually it does, if you read into the quote carefully.

"Tranquility is a notable passive skill that grants increased maximum energy shield and Transfiguration of Soul."

This means you should see an extra increase in your energy shield when equipping the item. Your spell damage should also rise (because of what Transfiguration of Soul does). The extra ES increase is 5%, according to the wiki.

"It is only available by anointing an item"

This means Tranquility is not available on the passive tree, so you won't be able to see it there.

Now you can thank Ozxell for the quote ;)

no, because he didnt explain anything. but i can thank you :-)
Perhaps you can tell us why you think you would have to 'activate' it. How many skills or 'passives' are there on the tree require you to specifically activate them? And even if these do exist, what is it about this particular skill that makes you think that you must 'activate' them?
The only reason I can think someone actually wants to see where its Notable in the Passive Tree is is for using things that allows allocation without connection to the three (Thread of Hope, Unnatural Instincts, Intuitive Leap) or wants to make sure it stays out from a Might of the Meek's influence. Or, yeah, Timeless Jewels or Attribute jewels or Threshold jewels.

I never tried to anoint one of those Blight-exclusive Passives, so I don't know if the slots we see in Path of Building for those nodes are just placeholders or if they are actually where they are shown to be. Even if the latter is the case, I guess they have a "This node is not considered inside the Range of another Jewel" that we can see in Cluster Jewels nowadays, so that their position on the three, ultimately, is irrelevant.

The base concept remains: if I allocate a Notable, even if blight-exclusive, I would like to actually have a reference on my passive that tells me it's actually allocated, just to make sure it's actually on (though it should never happen that a jewellery cannot be equipped if not for a matter of level rather than attribute but, you know.)
