Immortal Ambition and Eternal Youth - what happens?

Interested in this combo, but not sure I want to waste refund points on it, in case it doesn't work.

Does anyone know how these 2 skills work together?

1) Since Eternal Youth makes ES recharge apply to Life, instead, that works while Immortal Ambition is turning off your ES recharge, OR

2) Since Immortal Ambition turns off your ES recharge, that takes priority, and it does NOT get converted to Life recharge

I guess it's a question of which thing happens first: your ES recharge being turned off, or being converted to Life recharge?

Immortal Ambition
Energy Shield starts at zero
Cannot Recharge or Regenerate Energy Shield
Lose 5% of Energy Shield per second
Life Leech effects are not removed at Full Life
Life Leech effects Recover Energy Shield instead while on Full Life

Eternal Youth makes your ES Recharge apply to your Life instead of your ES. This means that, after a delay, you should recover (recharge) a base of 20% of your maxLife per second (same as your ES recharge) so long you are not losing life via damage (blood magic should be ok).

While under Eternal Youth you DO however have an ES - it just won't recharge, but can indeed recover it via Energy Shield leech, Regenerate it via Zealot's oath, or life flask recovery while under a non-legacy Sorrow of the Divine's effect.
However, being under Immortal Ambition, you cannot go with Zealot's Oath - this leave only ES Leech as the only way for you to "gain" ES.

The "Cannot Recharge or Regenerate Energy Shield" won't stop the "Energy Shield Recharge instead applies to Life" because of the "instead" keyword - you are now recharging life, not ES.

so, in definitive,

> When you are not on full life, "life recharge" will eventually help (but will run together with) your life leech until you will go full life
> When you are full life, you will start leeching ES, which will be rapidly depleted by Immortal Ambition. ES loss will not prevent your life from recharging, of course
