Help with One Handed Melee Definition
|
Hi All,
The PoE Wiki defines that One Handed Melee weapons are " all weapons that don't launch a projectile with their basic attack. Melee weapons include swords, daggers, axes, claws, staves, maces and fishing rods. These weapons can be wielded to use melee skills. " I noted that sceptres and clubs are not listed as One Handed Melee weapons. Sceptres and clubs add bonuses (elemental damage increase and stun) but do not launch projectiles with their basic attack. Unless plus elemental damage or stun are defined as "projectiles" ??? Can anyone confirm that sceptres and clubs are One Handed Melee weapons that can be used with One Handed Melee skill tree perks, or not ?? Sorry, but the Wiki definition confuses me. Thanks in advance, Raksy. ps - wiki ref = https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Melee_weapon Last bumped on Nov 4, 2020, 1:32:15 AM

" Thanks Thror. Before posting, I just looked at actual sceptres in game, and they don't say anything to do with mace on them. But I just looked them up on Wiki (after your post) and it says they are. My bad. Thanx again. I'll search more on Wiki in future. Don't normally use it. R |

As a matter of fact, the only one handed weapon that is not considered "melee" is, so far, Wands, and the only two handed weapon that is not considered "melee" is, so far, Bows. Anything else, even Fishing Rods, are to be considered melee
