mods affecting minions?
I was told that the (minion) mods on, say, a golem skill refer only to the golem(s) and NOT to any other minions I may have - is this correct?
(it makes sense to me, as, for example, "76% increased minion life" for all my minions would seem overpowered). but when a mod on, say, a body armor says "minions...", then it applies to ALL my minions, right? since the wording in both instances may be identical (yes?), how can I tell when the mod applies only to a specific group of my minions and when to ALL of them? also, if I were to put such a body armor on one of my minions (animated guardian), would the mod go from affecting ALL my minions to only affecting my AG or continue to apply to ALL my minions? and, finally ;-), if the mod were "Minion Hits Ignore Monster Elemental Resistances" (from "fleshcrafter" body armor) and I also have EE (elemental equilibrium), in what sequence would they be applied? (is there a hierarchy? - skill gem mods, equipment mods, passives, enchantments, spells, buffs, etc?) thanks a caboodle! helm Last bumped on Oct 28, 2020, 3:03:48 AM

" The wording on minion gems is bad, it should say 76% increased life for THIS minion. Minion mods on items or skill tree apply to all minions (unless it says socketed, then it only applies to socketed minions) Putting a armor piece on an animated guardian, that has for example "10% increased minion damage" would increase the GUARDIANS MINIONS damage, but since the guardian has no minions, it does nothing. Generally people put items on a guardian that either buff allies, or debuff enemies, and items that grant life regen to keep the guardian alive. (minions count as allies, but do NOT count as party members.) EE changes the elemental resistance of an enemy, lowering 2 and raising one. Ignore resistance means it treats the mob as having 0 resistance, no matter what its actual resistance is, positive or negative. If your minions IGNORE elemental resistance, EE would be useless. Order of mods does not matter for resistances. There are order considerations for other things like damage conversion. P.S.
