Can you still Manipulate Alva Temple for Corruption Altar?
|
I never really got into manipulate the Alva temple but I guess the idea is to just skip Alva when she doesn't give you a good option. Although currently when I skip Alva in Map A, as soon as I seen her again in Map B she once again offers the same previous rooms.
Am I doing something wrong or is the method a little different? Last bumped on Oct 22, 2020, 5:39:10 PM

"You are doing it wrong. The standard strategy is that after she gives you a good room, don't talk to her again, until next map. Alva cannot give you same room twice in a map. And after she showed you the room, it will be there until you complete the incursion. Last edited by 6_din_49#4066 on Oct 22, 2020, 5:36:09 PM

there is a SMALL trick you can do, to try to get a specific tier 3 room.
Alva has 3 enounters per map, A B C. None of them can repeat in an instance, so if A is 'corruption chamber', B and C can NEVER be corruption chamber. Even if you dont interact with her, A is fixed. you will always have to do that room. However, B and C are not locked in until you do the one before them. once you complete A, B is locked (even if you dont look at B), and once you do B, C is locked. So, the small trick is this: IF A is the room you really want tier 3, do that incursion, but DO NOT do the next 2 in that instance, because they cannot repeat. B will be locked in (something non A), but C is still 'unselected'. the next instance with alva, the first room offered will be B from the previous instance, BUT the next 2 will not be that, AND they have a chance to be corruption room. this gives you SLIGHTLY more chances to get the room you are looking for, but it takes more alva instances to complete your temple. |
