Banned and Account Unlinked from steam

Hello there.
I started playing path of exile on steam a 1 month ago, and this weekend I started to trade to get enough currency to equip myself to the endgame, and there was so much people sending messages to trade I was losing track of them, I tried to research something to help a little these trades, and found POE trades Companion, and since a lot of youtubers and streamers use them, I tried them too. 2 days after I started using it, I got banned, sent a ticket about it and it is being reviewed (I guess). Is the POE Trade Companion against Term of Use or something? If it is, I totally agree with the punishment, otherwise it's just a very unpleasant inconvenient, and from what I have been reading, has been ocurring a lot. Other thing is that I discovered I have 2 accounts in the same e-mail, which one probably was created in the website, but not linked to steam, and the other was created direct from the steam... the e-mail I current write this thread is the same as the steam account that got banned, and currently appears it has been deleted, since I can't login in POE website anymore, and the account has been unlinked from my steam. Could someone from GGG help check this? Both of them (ban and unlinked account), preferably. Thanks in advance. |

If you have contacted our team at support@grindinggear.com, your case would have been passed along to the appropriate team members for review. They will need to complete their investigations into any action taken against your accounts, and there may be some delay before they get back to you. They will look into your issue as soon as possible, and I'm afraid there isn't anything we can do to speed up this process.

You’ll have to work with support on the email thing as that is a separate issue. Depending on how you used PoE Trade Companion you very well might have violated the ToS. There have been several bans related to various trade tools.

" if you have appealed an BAN, then response time is 28+ days at the moment. The reply you get is --> you e-mail have been forwarded to the relevant department and that's it. |

I very much doubt that POE Trade Companion is the reason for the ban. The tool is, like others, permanently recommended and is also represented on Reddit and here in the forum. Well-known content creators and streamers recommend this tool (or a comparable one).
If it's forbidden and banned, they will probably have a possibility to discover it. This means that in the years since such a tool has existed, all players should have been permanently banned for it. I don't think they randomly picked you out and banned you arbitrarily for using the tool. Likewise, every new player who is even a little interested in the game will without any problems come across many of these tools and download and use them in good faith. It cannot make sense that these tools are so strongly represented in the community if they lead directly to a ban. Moderators would immediately delete such references and provide clarification, just as they would do if someone "advertises" a bot. Other community members would constantly warn against this.
