What is "Drop level"?

I'm actually configure filters, but I don't know the difference between "item level" and "drop level".

I know item level is inducated on the game using alt .
Drop level is based on the character's level requirement ?

I don't get any explanation here :/ :

there is no such thing as a drop level.

you got 2 parameters: "item level" and "requirement level"

item level is a property of the item, you can see it by additionally pressing alt when looking up the item to see the "advanced item view",

the item level defines which max properties the item can have (which tiers of affixes to be precise).

the item level of a item is defined by the level of the area it dropped and the type of monster it came from (magic monsters +1, rare+unique monsters +2)

the other level is the "requirement level" of an item.
it defines which level your char has to be to be able to wear this item.
this is fixed and can't be changed cause it's bound to the base type of that item. or type of unique item..
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
Are you thinking of item weight? When rolling for various mods they are given “weights” or the likelihood of anything rolling on the gear.
No, I get the answer on another filter-maker site : The "Drop level" is the level of the map where the item CAN be dropped . So an item with a drop level 70 mean we can found it only on maps >= 70 .

That's close to requirement level, except there's probably some items with low "requirement level", but high "drop level" .
Yes. There are plenty of items with no actual requirement level. The twink uniques, in particular, have no (or very low) requirement level, but only drop in higher zones. Whether they can only ever drop in the higher zones, or just have a much higher probability there, I don't know.
I don’t think too many uniques have a required zone level.
- Maps clearly do
- Boss only drops clearly do
- Div cards often require specific zones
