75k Heist map grind challenge is unnecessary annoying!

For a league that have their content "out-of-map", this challenge is unnecessary hard and annoying!
If you spam corrupted maps with luck 85%+ quantity you will need at least 880 map to finish the challenge. FeelsBadRngSituation: Also if we compare with Harvest challenge (10k map TIER) where you don't depend of RNG AND the league content is inside maps, you had to finish (kill the boss) 625 T16 maps. We didn't "missed" anything of the league (Harvest) and was way better to deal by only open white t16 and rushing to boss. I'll gladly do the Heist's 75k IIQ grind over the Harvest's 10k Tier anytime. I mean, you can easily cheat it by running Acton/Olmec.
Though, it has to be said, doing the Harvest grind was basically a byProduct of Heart of the Grove farming. Reaching it means to do at least 1.1k Tiers for the 100x T11+, not counting the extra tiers you had to do for making it start again the 100 map grinds. In the end there you are, running white T15 maps as fast as you can with little to no return because zoom zoom. IIQ grind, if any, does not force your character to roam the Red Sea. You have a low-tier unid Rare map, you run it. Easy, safe, profit. Also more respectful to those players who don't have access to equip that trivialize T14+ juiced maps. |

I hate to break it to you op but 75k iiq is so much easier than 10k map tiers.
If you did only t16s, it would take you 625 maps to complete 10k map tiers. let's use that map you linked as an example. 75 iiq, and if you have the awakening bonus plus the default map device iiq bonus, you end up with a little over 100 iiq per map. I'm going to stick with 100 iiq for easier numbers. That means you average 750 maps to complete 75k map tiers. It only takes 125 more maps to do 75k map tiers but remember when you first progress through the atlas, a tier 1 map only counts for 1 point toward the 10k map tiers, where as a tier 1 map that you alched (and you should be alching every map) gets most of the endgame iiq per map to this challenge, and it starts as soon as you start mapping. And then there's the whole thing where every natural red map requires you to corrupt it and often times that ends up with a 8 mod map that has over 150 iiq, and there's unique maps with 150-200 iiq. |

And why in the right mind would anyone care about achievements? Is your life gonna be better if you achieve some meaningless achievements? Todays kids... #facepalm

I aggre with you guys (ignore the Karen up there KEKW)...
but the point here is: The 75k could be ok IF the league content was in map. In this league if you want to do the actuatly content you have to ""ignore"" map litle bit and it become a snowball. That is my point. So when start aim to Heist challenges (Heist/not only challenges), this will suck your time. Even to me who "have time" to play i know in almost 1 month of the league "is a lot". (for me) But as i said... i understand! |

" Ok, I can agree to this point. Harvest's grinding was strictly bound to league content. While of course you HAVE to do maps in order to get your contracts, mosto of your blueprints, story contracts and at least a base amount of Markers, there does not seem to be an inherent bonus in doing it in a high-IIQ environment (the fact Markers drop even when they are not expected, like while delving, makes me think it is a sort of "scripted drop" with a very specific drop chance that cannot be changed, like Wisdom Scrolls from Perandus's Ring) |

I do not mind grinding, I will do that 75k eventually just by mapping what I would do anyways.
But I agree, that we have now fully separated mapping and heisting tasks, both taking a lot of time. To do them all, we eventually need to do 750 heists and 75k map tiers. If I could change one thing, I would keep the 750 heists and change the 75k map tiers to 75k map, heist or grand heist tiers. All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player.
So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this. |
