Summon Raging Spirits alternative skill gems not so good or what am I missing?

Summon Raging Spirit

Default: 20% increased Minion Movement Speed
Alternate Quality 1: Minions have 20% increased Duration
Alternate Quality 2: Maximum 2 Summoned Raging Spirits
Alternate Quality 3: Minions can't be Damaged for 2 seconds after being Summoned

1: I don't need that. usually have enough duration
2: 2 more? or do I miss anything? 2 more is not impressive
3: can't be damage for 2 seconds....I get 4 from a cluster jewel....does it add? Then it would be ok...

Extra duration is always a good thing, but it usually wasted if you use Mark of the Red Covenant or other ways to refresh SRS's duration

Perhaps +2 does not seem impressive, but I remember the days maximum SRS were 50. Since then the number of maximum SRS has been reduced in exchange of a reasonable boost on damage. 22 SRS can be a good thing if your Duration allows it, but I am afraid that value will be voided in case of Mark of the Red Covenant, since it does not state "addictional". If you, however, somehow manage to get to 40 quality that gem, I'd expect you can use Mark and 6 SRS instead of 5. Don't know how useful that would be.

Invulnerability for 2 second is not addictive with the cluster jewel - the jewel wins for the "recently" (4 seconds). Once again, if you manage to get to 50 quality, then the 5 invulnerability second will bypass the Recently of the cluster jewel.

All good and stuff, except maybe GGG forgot gems have 20, 23 quality at maximum and it's not so easy to add extra quality above that without becoming equip-dependent.

I can't find any of those alternative gems interesting enough to do a grand heist for. To have such items as a main reward for a grand heist seems a bit underwhelming imho...but ok...if it makes some people happy it's alright I guess.

Most of the 8/900 alternate gems serve no real purpose.
