Lavianga, indigon, arcane cloak

Build concept

Uniques required:
-Lavianga spirit flask
-Indigon
-Cloak of defiance, atziris foible

Stack only life and mana on tree and gear, get something like 5k life, 10k mana

Get all 3 passives from tree that gives "guard skills have increased cooldown recovery", total of 55%. Another 30% from second wind support gem, total 85%. So u can use more frequently the arcane cloak.

Use Arcane cloak, get 950 added lightning damage and big % inc damage from indigon(something like 650%, for 4 seconds)

Use lavianga spirit flask so u can use any skill with 0 mana cost. All mana regen will be used for defense on arcane cloak or MoM, and still buff damage, without having to spend mana like builds that use archmage.


Comparing to a normal archmage build:
-You can use any skill u like, not only unleashed, cremation, brand, pledge of hands ball lighning.
-Archmage with same mana would give something like 3000 added lightning damage, but u would have to build the 650% inc damage on your tree, and have even more regen to sustain mana cost for skill.
-You will have something like 2 seconds cooldown on arcane cloak, at this 2 seconds you will do a lot less damage. So 4 seconds with damage, and 2 without.
-Extremelly Tank build. Only 2 seconds without arcane cloak, and all mana regen is used for defenses.

I have no time to try this build, or im just lazy, i just made the theorycrafting cause i have more fun doing this than playing the game. Im just curious if anyone here made a build like this.

Archmage build relies on big mana cost, not a big mana pool, Lavianga makes your skill cost no mana.

Its not an archmage build. It does not use it. And Lavianga doesnt affect arcane cloak, its mana spent(that activates indigon), it has no skill mana cost.

Im just comparing to archmage, since its almost same passive tree build and items.

ya so essentially you use indigons instead of archmage and you end up with no mana cost and regen, to sustain the indigons and arcane cloak and defenses (with mom i assume)

I did a theory craft of this with abberaths hooves + a lvl 1 cwdt BV 6 link, was very solid in the dps department but still had 1/4 time without any dps buffs
