Dash vs Whirling Blades vs Leap Slam
Hi,
I did search this but a lot of threads I found are older, so I want to make sure my info is up to date. For pure movement, what's best between these three skills? I will probably use blood magic as one of the supports, so need to know what supports work best with each of these three. I'm currently using 2 claws if that makes any difference. You are using claws then Leap Slam is out of the question. Dash is very good for spellcasters because they can link it to Arcane Surge. You are not spellcaster so just go with WB and link it to Fortify.

leap slam is great IF you can use it. Leap - Faster Attacks - Fortify - Endurance charge on melee stun (if you leap into a pack, you WILL get endurance charges) leap slam also goes over gaps.
because you cant use leap slam, you have to make a choice: Whirling - faster attacks - fortify : this only takes 3 gem slots, is pretty fast, and gets your fortify, and never runs out of charges. but it cannot go over gaps. dash - second wind : only uses 2 links, and you can jump gaps, but you cant get fortify here. alternatively, you can use the 3 link whirling as your 'primary' movement, and just keep a solitary dash gem to jump gaps. but then it's 2 buttons. Since I have fortify on cyclone, seems like dash is the best.
Thanks for the input. |
