Is Maw of Mischief's Death Wish viable as an end-game ability?

I've been trying to figure out if Death Wish can work as an end-game skill.

It doesn't help that PoB isn't optimized yet for proper calculation of the explosions based on minion life (even the community fork), so it's hard to theorycraft around it.

Has anyone had any luck with it outside of a regular minion build?

Also, another question: does exploding zombies with aukuna's will count as consuming corpses?

For Explosion based on Minion's Death, how does PoB Fork works when going Detonate Dead on Raised Zombie with Aukuna's Will? It should be the most close to what Death Wish does, and it was around for 5 league.

if Detonate Dead consumes a corpse in order to explode, then Detonating a Zombie should count too. Of course, I am talking about Detonate Dead, which does not guarantee it actually works for what Death Wish does
