All skill gems reserve more mana than they should be

Hi, seeking help because all my skill gems that reserves mana are reserving 2% more mana than what is written on the gem.

They are not all linked together and I can<t find any passive that would do that. Anybody know what could cause this ?

Thank you.

post screenshots of them in game.
You should start with a process of elimination by deactivating all your skills that reserve mana and then switching them on one at a time to double check your calculations.

So Blood and Sand should reserve 10%
Dread Banner should reserve 10%
Flesh and Stone should reserve 25%
Pride should reserve 56% (50% base, plus 15% round up for Maim = 58%, multiplied by 0.96 for Enlighten, rounds up to 56%).

So that's a total of 101% which ain't gonna work.

I can't see which jewels you have slotted into your tree but I'm assuming one being used is Conqueror's Efficiency for the 2% reduced mana reserved? If so you should know this is one of the shittiest Jewels out there for how it works. Most players assume it takes the total of your reserved mana and then reduced that by 2% but it doesn't, it calculates each reservation individually and applies it separately.

So for your 10% reservations, less 2% of the reduction equates to 0.2% which then rounds down to the nearest whole number of zero so you get no benefit on either Blood and Sand or Dread Banner.

Flesh and Stone you have 25% less 2% reduction equating to 0.5% which, you guessed it, rounds down to zero.

On Pride you have 56% reduced by 2% for 1.12%, which rounds down to 1% so you actually get a benefit here. Whoopteedoo.

So currently this would result in 100% of your Mana being reserved which you can do, but you can only use Leap Slam and triggered spells.

You could overcome this by having rings with the -mana attribute which would probably be enough to use cyclone, but you probably will still not have enough to use your Warcry and probably not your Warchief totem either.

Your options are either drop one of your 10% reservation skills, or anoint Sovereignty on your amulet for the mana reduction which should get you to around 97% mana reserved which may or may not be sufficient to use your skills depending on your mana regen speed.

But Pride doesn't get the maim stuff, that's flesh and stone

That's a good point. So there's another problem there for the OP as his gloves have linked: Maim - Enlighten - Pride
and unlinked by itself: Flesh and Stone.

So Maim is not actually providing a benefit but it's still applying a multiplier to Pride. Need to do some adjustment to socket connections there but any way you look at it, there's just too much mana reserved so something has to give.

they are either in an item doing this or linked to support gems that is doing this.
I loaded their char in POB, and it should have 45 unreserved mana(7%)
Blood and Sand - 10%
Dread Banner - 10%
Flesh and Stone - 25%
Pride - 48%

if this is not the case OP needs to say so, because that math checks out.

i also did this but found unreserved mana to be 9%

ok, read the wrong person character tab

For Theslowlyway : FemmeTop

Pride (50% * 0.96 from Enlighten ) = 48% since maim can't support pride thus discard from calculation

ok, try swap your maim support with flesh and stone.

I have no idea why you link maim support to aura but not linking aura to enlighten
