Hello.
I have been banned for using "Third party software", as I can see in my PoE profile. I have been using for many years these popular tools: Acquisition Poe Trade Macro Poe Trades Companion Awakened Poe Trade (this one since few months, instead Poe Trade Macro) And I had no problems, ever. Before the start of the Heist league I found this video, made by PoE streamer named Path of Matth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU3jjJXCOCY&t=6s He made two videos more about this tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYRoGX13nbI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5T8pvmXsCks&t=3s and following the video I installed this: https://github.com/notablackbear/poe_qolV2 https://github.com/notablackbear/poe_qolV2/releases/tag/V0.2.2 It's made to show items in the stash tab to make chaos recipes faster, and also helps to sort inventory in the dump tab, by showing items by categories like: maps, splinters, rare items... The streamer (Path of Matth) that posted the videos is quite popular, it made me sure THE TOOL IS SAFE! I used this tool for just two days. One day to check it out, and the second day during the league. I decided to not use it anymore, not because I considered it being a potential ban reason, just because it's clunky and I'm faster without this tool. Seems like more people are using it, because they didn't report any ban problems in the comment section below videos . I assume this tool made me banned. It makes cursor flying, and pointing first stash tab, to find the items in it. I used this tool so little. I won't use it ever again. I have never been banned, except this time. I do not use any other programs, except those mentioned above. I have never intended to cheat. I sended a mail to the support, this is what they respond: "Thanks for contacting Support. I've gone and passed this on to the appropriate team members to look into further. I apologise for any delay there may be in responding to you. If there is anything else we can assist you with in the meantime do not hesitate to let us know." After that I sended 2 mails more, no response though. I've been banned since 29 september. I'm experiencing the same problem, maybe it was an automated detection error or something? I've emailed support, is there anything else to do? I just want to be able to play the game again.

" no, sadly you have to wait until the BAN Appeal board have reviewed your case. This is something that support is not allowed to do. Wait can be 14+ days at the moment. :( |

" same here. i even message them all info i have via email but their response is some template nonsense!! i've lost hope already in ggg about banning people.. the support will not even tell me what happen.. ban for no reason. |

Just wait it out unfortunately, don't reply!
I'm 6 full days of waiting already, and it's kinda putting a stopper on my motivation |

" well the process is that you login to the web site and there it will say the reason for the ban --> 3 party software, breach of ToS and so on. Then you e-mail GGG support and appeal the BAN (remember to put all info into this e-mail of things that you believe is important for your appeal). When this happens, there is nomore GGG support is "allowed" to do because appeals are handle by another department inside GGG. After 14+ days, you get a reply from the appeal board and then thats it. If they uphold the BAN, then they will no longer reply to any of your e-mail regarding the banned account. |
