Since 3.12 PoE makes browser (Chrome & Firefox tested) extremely laggy

I always watched Twitch and played PoE with multiple other tabs open and never had a problem.
Since 3.12 Chrome is extremely laggy and Twitch and other sites are horrible to use while PoE is open, it lags, it is incredibly slow and sometimes the site just hangs up.

When I close PoE, it's buttery smooth again instantly.
