Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - Cannot craft Minion Damage on a wand that has no minion damage. - Forum

I recently tried to craft myself two convoking wands... " Rarity: Rare Kraken Bite Convoking Wand -------- Wand Quality: +20% (augmented) Physical Damage: 36-67 (augmented) Critical Strike Chance: 7.00% Attacks per Second: 1.53 (augmented) -------- Requirements: Level: 72 Int: 242 -------- Sockets: B-B-B -------- Item Level: 84 -------- Can roll Minion Modifiers (implicit) -------- 20% increased Spell Damage 9% increased Attack Speed +1 to Level of all Minion Skill Gems Minions have 16% increased Movement Speed Minions have 7% increased Attack Speed Minions have 6% increased Cast Speed As you can see, this wand has an open Prefix. However, I cannot craft Minion damage on this wand, as it says it already has a mod of this type. For some reason, "increased spell damage" is blocking the crafting of ANY other "#% Increased Damage" mods. Is this a side effect of the tagging? Or is this intended?
