Vaal temple boss

wanted to do full atlas for the first time this league and missing a few maps this one included and i wanted to also do the challenge i killed the other 2 kinda easily but this k'aj k'alai dude just stands under firestorm which lasts forever and shoots ranged projectiles that hit like a truck on a child who didn't look both ways before crossing the road how is this fair for melee chars wtf and then i went to do another map and the vaal orb give me this shiet again as if taunting me anyway anyone wanna do this map for me and do the challenge kill k'aj k'alai last? thanks

Max block is your answer.

When fighting them with melee you kill A'alai first. Then the fire guy, then the whirlwind guy. Make sure to have corrupted blood immunity or a flask for the last one.

As for A'alai, just run around the room in circles with the 2 melee guys after you, hit her a few times, then move on. Don't attack for more than a second or two otherwise here projectile rain will knock the shit out of you. Also watch out for the fire guy when he starts burning, he gets reflect and hits like a truck during that phase, only engage when he isn't burning. The trio is quite easy when you know how to deal with them but are a nightmare to anyone who doesn't know.

/edit just saw the part about the challenge, well, for that you'll have to make a ranged build. She will just stand in the death cloud and shoot you, no way to engage as a melee in that situation.

Yes unless there's a challenge that wants you to do otherwise like this one.

always kill tittybitch first she is like the single worst map boss there is if you kill her last, should look at her damage values its like 5k phys base per rain if shes buffed and thats before map mods

I usually have a high PDR character in a league and that makes Vaal Temple reasonable, but I clench on anyone else.

It's more like 50k base. My chieftain has 30k EHP against physical damage with mitigation only, no avoidance, and he doesn't last a second in her rain. I also remember a video of some Guardian with 20k ES and another 20k+ VMS active getting melted in a matter of seconds by that attack. It's completely bonkers.

This sounds like one of those challenges you have to pay to get done -.-

Or if you are melee and have no friends/ssf, throw all your stats onto an ancestral warchief and give them each a good dicking in any order you choose, while running for your life.

My buddy had an AG with something like 75k life and > 20% life regen as well as necro aegis block stats, capped res, kingmaker, garb, etc.

Only time he lost his AG. Not even conqs/Sirus could kill it.
