Does triggered spells count as "you" casting.

Lets say you have an item that says gain 5% attack speed when you cast a spell. If the spell is triggered do I get the bonus?
More importantly the Passive "Hexes you inflicted get +4 doom." Last edited by ZombieOtter#7440 on Sep 19, 2020, 9:37:32 AM Last bumped on Sep 19, 2020, 11:37:05 AM

Triggered spells do not count as "you" casting.

I can say with certainty that Dynamo's "Recover 20% of your max mana in 1 second when YOU USE a Guard Skill" won't work for triggered Guard Skill - you have to self-cast your Guard skill in order to trigger Dynamo.
This mostly happen because an Active Skill Gem, when triggered, is not "used", but rather, "occours", which is also why it will not consume mana for the cast. I would believe "you inflicted" means any curse you self-casted or have been cast from a Totem, Trap or Mine (not Minion, not Skitterbots modified with "aura to curse" ring I don't remember the name). I'd be inclined to believe "Hexes you inflict" via Trigger spell will still be considered as "inflicted" by you, but I cannot find an exact offical/wikia information to back up my theory EDIT: GreyLensman, I believe the wording is important: Perhaps it's something akin to Apep's Rage "Poison you inflict deal 20% faster"? Would that boost poison applies from a Cast While Channeling-supported skill? Last edited by Maxtrux#0762 on Sep 19, 2020, 10:09:12 AM
