How the brittle ailment works
The wiki says, "Hits against brittle enemies have up to +15% chance to critically strike afflicted enemies."
I'm unsure if it means the +15% chance is just another increased critical strike chance modifier, or if it actually adds +15 to base critical strike chance. +15 to base is absurdly powerful. Assasin's mark used to add 2.5 and got nerfed with heist. Whereas +15% increased chance is pitifully underpowered and not even worth it. So that's why I'm really confused as to how this ailment actually works because either option seems too overpowered or underpowered. Thanks in advance for your help! " It boost the base crit chance, but i bolded the relevant words in that sentence your ignoring and added in the rest of the description for that ailment. So against big bosses(since this ailment is mostly irrelevant for clearing) you need to do quite a lot of cold damage to get that max 15% Also depending on where your getting the ability to cause Brittle in the first place, you might need to crit the boss first before there's any Brittle in effect. Thanks! I know it's up to, but it still seems really high. But maybe you're right and it's hard to get close that that in practice. I think even 2 or more % is pretty good. And it seems like that should be easy to achieve.
