Witch 2h sword builds?

I am very fascinated by the view model and idea of a 2h Witch build.. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what a good kind of build path would be for that sort of thing or if anyone has ever tried that.


A few leagues ago I went with queens escape - it was mainly a minion build which was fun

I always wanted to do a Wild Strike/Elemental Hit Elementalist, even before the revamp of those skills. Never done it because of performance, but I guess a Voidforge would suit well that kind of character.
EDIT: No it does not. The random choice of conversion of the weapon will mismatch with the "cannot deal damage of other type" of those skill, thereby having a very high chance of 0 damage hits. You are thinking about Reave or Lacerate.

Perhaps poe.ninja or some other Exile managed to pull a decent build with Voidforge

Other 2H Sword that a Witch could use:

> Hiltless : a lot of base physical damage with a nice self-damaging touch. Useful for self-casting builds that can't afford/get a Scold. Of course there are other, more efficient ways today to build self-caster builds (read: Autobombers)

> Oro's Sacrifice : While still the BiS when going elemental Flicker Strike, it is also true most of the Frenzy Charges perks are in the opposite side of the tree. It can still blend well with Elementalist for an IgniteProliferation version, just don't expect it to be able to create many FC when going against bosses

> Dancing Dervish/Dancing Duo : If you fancy a Minion builds that's not quite a full-time Necromancer

> Legacy Edge of Madness : In standard, you can look around and see if someone can give you an older version of this 2H Beyond-Exclusive weapon. Once, the item had a bit more damage, and instead of the +1% chaosDamage perLevel, had a +1% elementalDamage per level, coupled with a +1 LifeOnKill perLevel. While you may find the extra chaos damage given by the sword discordant with the other elemental bonus - which is why the sword was reworked - it can still boost up your Elemental Hit builds
