How vivid scalefruit synthesis works

Vivid Scalefruit says "Allows you to give an item a Synthesised implicit modifier when Harvested". Just wanted to know how this works before the league ends to know if it's worth doing.

1.Is the synthesised mod chosen by looking at the mods on the item? So would I be able to go to POEDB and find the mod I want, then just get the correct mod on that item and try to get lucky, or even guarantee it with a 1 mod magic. Example:#% increased Attribute Requirements on a wand giving chance to gain a power charge on kill.

2.If not #1, then is the synthesised mod just any random mod that could occur on that item base?

Does the item I synthesise have to be fractured? Can it be any rarity (normal,magic,rare, or unique)? Can it be influenced?

Can I get multiple synthesised implicits by using multiple Vivid Scalefruit crafts on the same item?

the synth mod (or mods, plural) are chosen at random, from any mod that can be on the item.

the item does not have to be fractured. it cannot be unique. i do not believe it can be influenced (i KNOW you cannot fracture an influenced item, or put influence on an already fractured one)

fractured items have icons where influence icons would be. i believe syth items do as well, though a slightly different icon.

Thanks for the reply. So is it a random number of implicits you get or just 1? I've only seen the seed, not the wording of the crafting option in the harvester. Can the item already be synthed and will it add synth mods to it or will it reroll all implicits if you do this?

You can read the wording on the craft. Pretty much only works on plain items.

Same as posting any item. While typing a post, hit your character icon in the upper left and click the item you want linked.
