Updating POE with the latest patch and the torrent method.

A few of my friends haven't updated POE in a while due to things so they're waiting until Heist league releases to update.
Question is does not updating with the recent 23GB file before using the torrent version of the up coming league patch would it still be possible to update with the new league patch via torrent? Last bumped on Sep 14, 2020, 6:51:01 AM

There's no promise that there will be a Torrent this time, or if one is even possible.
Best advice is to patch 11.2 BEFORE you try to patch 12.0. That's the set up that they're considering "normal" and being abnormal during a change like this rarely leads to better results. |

DO NOT WAIT till launch day. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.

I'm absolutely sure that there will be an alternative for people who wait... but it will likely take as long or longer than doing it the way everyone else is.

havent played for weeks and was going to wait until league start but i guess i'll download it now just to be safe
