Graphical screen tearing despite vsync enabled (Vulkan)

1) Vsync is enabled in the game and forced on via the Nvidia Control Panel.

2) Path of Exile screenshots nor Nvidia Shadow Play recordings capture the issue (Shadowplay portrays it as whole scene stutter).

3) Delete the CachedHLSLShaders and ShaderCacheVulkan folders from the installation directory.

4) Begin gameplay while starting a download through Steam in the background to create severe unstable latency for a couple minutes, and then stop the download.

i have the same kind of issue, also stripes across the screen, sometimes when i alt tab back and forth it fixes it, but after a few minutes its back to the stripes again, it varies alot per time how it does look

I am experiencing this on my system as well.

While Vulkan is enabled, there are blurred lines that span across my entire display.

Once DX11 is selected, the issue seems to be resolved, albeit in-exchange for noticeably worse performance.

My system: 2080 Ti, 9900K, 32GB DDR4, with latest NVIDIA drivers and Windows 10 (2004 build).

I am also experiencing this problem. I also switched to DX11 and am having performance issues

MY SYSTEM is GTX 2080 Super, 16GB mem and I7-107000

I am having screen tearing with vulkan ON, no matter what I try to do with options. Even with Vsync on and off, it is the same.

When i go back to directX, screen tearing is gone.

Also V-SYNC doesn't respect display refresh rate - it spikes above 60FPS up to ~80 for no reason while in action. Same goes for FPS limit without vsync enabled.

Only happens in Fullscreen.

That bug is due to a Microsoft low-level kernel bug. Cannot be fixed. Use Fullscreen Windowed or Windowed @ 800x600 (and not Any bigger) to fix.

This bug is not game-specific.
