Filter blade and POB coming to Mac OS version?

I am currently playing poe on bootcamp windows and am keen to try out the gaming experience of Mac Os version in the upcoming update.
Filterblade and Path of building has been the essential key to smooth out the best experience of poe for me.

Will 2 of these things be coming out for Mac OS? Greatly appreciate if anyone has info on this.

i don't think so since both are 3 party software and have nothing to do with GGG. So you cna play on mac but you will need to boot to windows to use the other things.
Thanks!

I guess I'll stick with windows until I'm finished with the league.

you have to because Mac OS lunch is first in the next L.... :=)
As others have mentioned, these are third-party tools. Unfortunately, this means we aren't able to speculate on whether you will be able to use these on the Mac OS.
They both have web versions (Filterblade *is* a website):

PoB: https://pob.party/
Filterblade: https://www.filterblade.xyz/

Being websites you should be able to access them through any of the main modern desktop browsers.
Wow did not know POB had a web version. A bit clunky compared to integrated apps but this really will come in handy for Mac OS.
I always used DL version of filter blade and thought somehow not work in due to the file format difference between the 2 different OS.
Just noticed Filterblade had a game link option which adds the filter through game rather than adding the file directly So filterblade is somehow allowed to pass its data through the game?

If this is true is, I thought GGG might be able to answer Filterblade side of the question since they work inline with xbox and PS4 version already but they've already answered the question by saying its 3rd party.

I already sent out a mail query to filterblade regarding compatibility with Mac Os so I should get some answer in the near future. Will post the answer here if I get a reply.

If this works, my worries for the Mac OS version may just be already be solved!

Thank you all for providing the information.

I don't know Lua, and I'm not super-experienced with C++, but I tried anyway.

The Lua portion is cross-platform, but the C++ portion includes several references to Windows specific libraries.
Granted, there are likely suitable alternatives, but I don't know enough to port the code to use them instead.

I'll be using Parallels for PoB, but obviously that's not a real solution.

As for FilterBlade or other item filters, that'll work just fine. Even before there was a web API to sync directly with PoE account, the item filters were really just text files read in by the client.

to me

Hey, the filter should be compatible with Mac. I'm not sure how the folder structure will work, but the filter itself is platform independent

ppoelzl on the Path of Building Community Fork github replied very quickly to me - and it doesn't look likely that PoB will be an OSX app any time soon.

Much of the UI appears to be Windows specific, and my guess is that there are lots of little things that also would be tied to running on windows (filenames, or paths, or how updates work, or whatever).

https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding/issues/1370

It doesn't appear impossible to port, but somebody would have to do that work, and maintain it.
