6-Socket Recipe at Delve 196

Hi Exiles!

I'm not sure if I just got lucky, but I managed to find a Primeval Chamber at depth 196 in Delve. I heard that they start appearing at depth 250 and onwards, and that they are pretty rare; so I think it's just me being lucky. (Although, reeaally late into the league since the league is ending)

None the less, I'm just posting my findings here just to record it and as additional information for people who are looking into this topic. To me though, Primevals at 196 is new news xD

Anyway, goodluck exiles!

I saw a youtube where it was hit at 191.
Took me to 236, RNG I guess.
I also got a Crystal King right next to it, so that is tonights fun!

Gratz on getting lucky!
I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say...
They changed it some time ago that it starts spawning in areas of lvl 80+ or something.

GZ man that was very luck to find one!

Primeval chambers can spawn lower, only Aul himself can spawn at 250+.

I spawned an aul at 190 depth
During MetaMorph i found it in Abyss City (or something like that) around 180. It was below 170 but above 190.
Theoretically, primordial ruins can spawn anywhere below 171, or where i83 monsters first appear.

In practice, though, the chances of hitting one right as you cross that threshold are less than 0.2%. You'd have to dig sideways exposing 500 nodes before you found one.

That is not as hard as it seems though. Just parking the cart at a node auto-reveals a 5x5 square of nodes/map tiles around you. Strategically planning your sideways delves can reveal 500 or more tiles in a mere 20-25 trips.

That's still a LOT of yellowcake but you only need to spend like this once. Afterwards, you can choose vantage points along the original sideways tunnel to branch downward again and save a lot of sulphite rotas by using the same pathing rules you use for finding hidden walls.

And it's cheaper than the old threshold of 239 - cheaper by about 500-600 sulphite per map tile.

That said. The deeper you are, the higher the spawn rate for Aul and ruins in general.

The sulphite cost per map tile maxes out at some depth, below which all costs are the same. Find this depth and if you can handle it, go sideways there. IIRC it was at 600 or 1000 or so, which is about as deep as most non-dedicated delve rushers can function.

At this depth the spawn rates for every type of city are considerably higher, perhaps orders of magnitude higher. At 280 for instance, after travelling 10 nodes west of my plumb line, I revealed 3 abyssal cities and 2 delve cities nearby. Going a bit further I found a 2-tile mini primeval ruins. No Aul, but it's a 6L recipe.

During Blight league, shortly after they readjusted the thresholds for monster level and travel cost, I found an Aul at 317.

Dark delving long tunnels sadly does NOT reveal additional map tiles. I've tried this, and come back and looked at my delve map and nothing changed. :( The cart has to come with you to officially populate those tiles.
