zHP Deep Delve Icicle Miner Question

My mine throwing seems more "spurty" than it should be. I mean it's functional and I'm down to 1600+ depth with it, but I see Twitch streamers having a much smoother throw and detonation cycle; it's more constant for them, where mine is more sporadic. This is getting me killed when mobs with particularly fast mods will have time to react between the mine detonation sequence. I can't figure out what I'm missing - do you guys see anything obvious? Thanks much for any help!

Could you perhaps be having mana issues? The top Icicle mine build has even slower throwing time but he does have more unreserved mana than you due to wearing Victario's Influence.

" Weird, I think you're right. I bought a Victario's to test it out. On both armors I can still get 17 mines with no problem, but Victario's somehow seems to be smoother during repeated cycles. I wonder if it's the regen delay that was hurting me - since Victario's is so much mana cheaper it must have reduced that considerably. Thanks for spotting this! :) I lost about 1m DPS switching to Victario's but the smooth gameplay is definitely worth it. I'll have to find damage in other gear slots. I also tried out minefield support - it's so clunky I don't know how most people are using that support lol. |
