Immortal Ambition question regarding maximum leech rate.
Obvious question based on title.
With base max life leech per sec being 20%, and base max for ES being 10%... Will Immortal Ambition slow down to a 10% ES max rate once it's leeching for ES? Or does it keep life's max rate while leeching ES? Saying it out loud, I guess it sounds like it flips over to ES's max rate, but I could see a mechanical argument for either one. If it indeed flips over to ES max leech rate, I would then also assume Vaal Pact loses its effect for the ES portion? Immortal Ambition makes life leech recover energy shield. It does not make you leech energy shield, so the limit is based on the limit of your life leech.
The opposite of that is Ghost Reaver, which actually changes your life leech to energy shield leech, and for that, the ES leech maximum applies. So with Immortal Ambition, while you are at full life, you recover up to 20% of your life as ES rather than just 10% of your ES. Vaal Pact should also apply. I have no explicit confirmation on this, but based on my understanding, this should then be scaled by increased energy shield recovery rate rather than increased life recovery rate however. |

" It scales of maximum life leech rate. Maximum ES leech has no effect for that key stone. |

" That is not what I was talking about in the part that you quoted. I was talking about the stat "increased life recovery rate" as you can find it on Elder influenced belts for instance, not "increased maximum recovery per second from life leech". It is life leech, but it recovers energy shield, so it should be affected by modifiers to life leech and energy shield recovery. |
