Facebreaker builds - Herald of Purity

This is my first post about a balance change, usually i get the point of nerfing/buffing stuff to balance the game, ive been playing for years, now I really want to suggest the rework of Herald of Purity.

Herald of Purity skill gem is what give life to most facebreaker builds, its the main source of damage scince there are just a few ways to get flat phys damage when unnarmed, this nerf killed most facebreaker builds, wich is my favourite one tbh. The nerf to the Circle of Guilt rings was more than enough.

IMO the best solution is to add back the flat physical damage to HoP -maybe limited when unnarmed? idk-. That way everything will remain the same and Facebreaker builds will be playable again.

I think devs have not considered this impact to unnarmed builds, and I hope you look forward to fix this, thanks for your time and have a good day.

12% is too low imo

the skill was favouring fast attack speed weapons and massive multipliers like from unarmed

It got equalized to be also useful for Two Handed Weapons

I think it should be at least 15% more phys damage for attacks

how about separating them for spells and attacks

12% for spells 18% for attacks

There is no point of making more % than 12% cause that is what Facebreaker gloves does, it scales the flat physical damage up to 800% more, even 30% more is nothing... this nerf was made to balance all builds using physical weapons, BUT with unnarmed builds you just dont have sources to scale damage, HoP was the main one.

Best part is that I used 2H for my build this league but couldn't figure out how to make Herald of Purity as damaging as Flesh & Stone + Maim (outside of getting the right Herald Ring, which never happened), unless I were to take aura reservation nodes somehow, I guess. So knowing I would need to go out of my way to really take advantage of the change makes me not favor the change from flat damage to % damage.
Indeed been playing with Facebreakers recently and it is a shame that HoP was nerfed like that.. Also noticed that a lot shield nodes on Berserk tree were missing in the lower part of the tree. Earlier they gave quite a lot of boost to the damage output, now I dont see the same nodes there anymore...
Going for the crit rate build didint introduce any advantages either, damage is nice and all, but I had to sacrifice a lot of defense/health in exchange and also meeting evasive mobs really made the build squishy.
On top of that Cyclone also was reworked and now stuns stop it... So basically there is additional mechanic that you need to counter in some way.

I think you misunderstand how "more" multipliers work in this game.

HoP rework is fine for FB, but it's terrible for any fast 1h build. It's no longer possible to rely on a 2xT2 weapon and a decent flat damage amulet, you have to have a 4xT2 weapon (or even 3xT2 + T1) and T1 flat damage on every single jewelery piece.
Leveling with this sort of build has "unpassable wall of frustration" at tier 12 maps.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess

How in the world could HoP gem nerf could be worse for 1h than Facebreakers gloves boy, unnarmed builds DONT USE WEAPONS, means NO flat phys dmg at all, if you dont have damage numbers to SCALE then that 800% more means nothing, get it? HOP was the main source to scale damage for facebreaker.

Well, you can only go full crit using Rigwalds Curse now if want to deal decent damage, thats the only option tbh, you cant play other way. I used to play gladiator cyclone using Resolute technique, but thats not an option anymore, for example.
