Sepulchre boss is still bad.

The full-screen AoE attack Doedre does is overtuned and practically unavoidable for many builds. The whole mechanic of the fight is bad. Forcing players to hide behind fragile totems to avoid instant death. Not your best work.
Nobody enjoys the fight. Either nerf the damage, nerf the size of the AoE, or ditch the attack entirely, maybe substituting another ability that isn't cheap. Last bumped on Aug 4, 2020, 11:53:48 PM

Only issue I have with the boss is her totem things often die before she does leaving you with nothing to hide behind. If it's an important part of the fight they shouldn't die so easily.

" I realized this today. I thought the fight was quite easy when I was playing elemental hit, then when I tried it on my new summoner character I saw the scream, went to hide behind a totem and... realized there were no totems because my minions destroyed them all before the scream even started. I didn't die (my unique life flask saved me) but it's obviously a bad fight mechanic. Everyone has lots of area damage nowadays, no fight should be designed around the player not killing something. |

Single target damage or the support that makes minions attacka single target.

Boss abilities shouldn't be practically unavoidable, or only conditionally avoidable. Sepulchre boss sucks. Cheap, unfair mechanic. HotG included in the Atlas sucks. PvP and PvE should not be mixed. Reflect sucks, all versions of it. Absolutely the cheapest mechanic in the game. No regen sucks. Nothing but a waste of currency. Practically no one enjoys them. They serve no purpose. These things should be changed or eliminated. The game is in a pretty good place, on the whole. That doesn't mean that the errors of the past shouldn't be addressed in the present to put it in an even better place. |

O my god, a fight requiring to use brain and vbary gameplay a bit, plz change it cause i've just die a min ago !
Basically, you're asking to be able to tank it (witch is quite simple actually) or not being hit anyway. Go D3, there is no real opposition, you'll be fine there. |

Nothing compared to the bullshit you can get from Acid Cavern bosses (if you're unlucky). That fucker "Morgrants the Deafening" killed all my minions in a split second including spectres and the AG. It's ridiculous...

Idk every build I played for past like 5+ leagues sepulchre doedre was faceroll... a single layer of defence makes the scream facetankable with modest recovery (like just having one of: spell dodge, spell block, armour).
and even if you don't got it, unless you somehow have no dps AND no speed (and of course, no defences which is why you need to hide) killing the totems/hiding behind them is trivial. pretty sure doedre herself gets like a 80% damage reduction or something while screaming anyways so you're not incentivized to dps unless you can tank it anyways. Though i'll be first to admit when act 9 first came out, some of my shittier builds which were slow and low dps once they got 5+ (don't think it was capped at 5 before though I could be wrong) stack of purple/green, it was time to reset the instance since i no longer had speed to dodge anything or have dps/opportunites to break the effigies |
