Ele reflect, divine flesh and 100% reduced ele reflect

The damage is being reflected back as 50% chaos and 50% ele so when im 100% lightning ball lightning and yeah you and your minions take 100% reduced elemental damage reflected I die to ele reflect take Xibaqua out and i dont kill my self i know its the conversion killing me.

I dont get why its working this way you would think im doing 100% ele so i shouldent take anything back.

I get that its converting it then dealing the damage but was this intended as its very miss leading and lead to a death 2 min after paying 12ex for the item its self.

Well 100% reduced isn't the same as immunity. Things that make you take increased damage like map mods and curses will be additive with the reduced just like every other calculation in the game. I don't know about Divine Flesh but it definitely shouldn't be increasing reflect. Got a screenshot of the map mods?
Yes this is intentional. Damage shift (taking X as Y, such as on Divine Flesh) occurs before damage reductions. Consequently half of the incoming reflected damage will be shifted to chaos prior to any damage reduction, such as your chest mod.

You assumed something worked in a specific way without actually knowing it would, that's a fault on your part, not misleading game mechanics.

I'd say this is fault of the mod implementation.

I have 7 years of the game experience and over 1k edits on the wiki, I've been using Divine Flesh on 5 characters, I've died to Uber Atziri's reflect 4 times and blamed occasional shock from storm call, desync or unknown bug and only after that I realized the mod is the last calculation step and the damage shift is the first one.

The mod should work as "You are immune to reflected damage" period
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess
