My fans are going nuts while playing POE (good spec btw)

All in the title, I can't see what i'm doing wrong.

My fans are going crazy, and i can feel the heat around my PC.

My spec is pretty good, and i don't have any issue anywhere else, any other game run smoothly, no issue. I even do architectural rendering with the PC, calculating 4K images, calculating videos etc... with fans running smoothly.

But POE, nope.

Vsync is ON of course, but still. I'm running everything at max quality.

Here is the spec :

GPU : Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core 3.60 GHz
RAM : 64Go
Poe is on my SSD too

If you need something else, tell me how to give you the info you need and i'll do it.

Thank's alot.

specs have nothing to do with how you cool the parts.

Go into your settings and get some fram rate limiting happening, it really is pointless having the PC run the game at 300+fps when you monitor is 60 to 144hz...thats just additional load producing heat.

Monitor temps, and make sure your fan curve isn't set too low.

If you are using a pre built PC check the cooling solution, some big name brands put cost saving in giving you sub par parts (asus did for my pre built and gave me a shit CPU cooler)

and make sure the PC is clean.
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1
you have such good gpu/ram but then you put that amd 3.60ghz in there :(

anyway basically what lagwin said

Isn't the point of Vsync to cap framerate ? If not, event when setting 60FPS, the fans are still loud.

How can i see if my fans curve is set too low ?

My PC was hand made by a specialized company, they are legit and real pros. I don't think they put bad cooling solution.

So, i checked with MSI aftrburner, my GPU is going up to 82°, fan speed set to auto, goes up to 84% fan speed.

I don't know how to/want to/need to set the fan speed to a specific amount. Maybe it'll cause damage to my GPU ?

Then maybe talk to the company that made your PC and ask them to help you diagnose this. Fan goes up when HW is to warm.....

Also try to stop using vSync and try the FPS limiter for both forground and backgroud limits.
