High ping across all servers

Hello, usually I have around 40 ping on Texas or DC. Starting last night, all servers have over 200 ping. Any idea what may be causing this? Launching through steam. Let me know if there is anything I can upload to help diagnose the issue.

HOLY MOLY, well.. im uber lab carry so i should know this.

I help other players from other servers.
Mainly doing uber in their server.

Im from Malaysia and play in SG server. Should be fine. Actually no.
The pain is real

BUT BUT BUT. I find it absolutely strange. California (US). 200ms latency. IS SMOOTHER THAN SG SERVER.

NOT JOKING. Not a single spike. I even load into the lab instance faster than Californians in THEIR OWN SERVER.

So this is my experience for the past couple 2-3 days.
Speed tests mean nothing, you want to WinMTR while you play then post that.

FYI a speed test is ran to the nearest host usually pretty close to you so even latency is better, it also measures speed by telling you how much data you can push through, the game will never take that much...not even close, it's all about latency and packet loss...something you may not even see because you missed 95% of the route the game takes to the server

BUT usually if there is a problem and it is effecting every server for you then it is a problem closer to you and not the servers.

Like what lagwin1980 said
Fast internet doesn't mean stable internet or good ping.
Just like Smart doesn't mean Rich

Try to check Package loss or ping (WinMTR or using old cmd in windows) to
1. to your router (usually 192.168.1.1 or check your router)
2. to Google/youtube/ect (google.com)
3. last to Your main realm/server (search your Main realm's IP)

See if there's package loss or not and
If No.1 has more than 20s+ then your connection to router is the problem.
If No.2 has more than 70s+ then your ISP is the problem.
If both under 5s and 30s but to the nearest realm has 100s+ it's the connection to the realm which has problem, server problem/ISP ect.
(Edit unless if you live so far away from any of the servers then 100-200s is normal xD)

In stormfall2 case, SG Realm sometimes just sucka**, so can try go to other realm like what stormfall2 does.

Looking at your Realm screenshot, I expect it's either Router or ISP problem.

Thanks for all of the info, the problem worked itself out as I ran errands today. So I'm guessing it was an ISP issue. Thank you again.

I've been playing smoothly all league, rock-solid 50ms to Paris server (I live in Spain), but yesterday it suddenly went up to 150+ ping across all servers. I play hardcore SSF, which means I can't play at all.

Here's the WinMTR to Paris server:

Sometimes ping goes back down to 60, but suddenly up, seems like an intermittent issue.

Looks like a ISP peering issue between your ISP and GGG's hosting partner....
