Thousands of Orb of Fusing and no 5 links!!!!

POE Tech Support I can't get 5 links after using thousands of Orb of Fusing on my Pledge of Hands Judgement Staff. I spent a huge amount of money on getting the Orb of Fusing and time without getting the 5 links. Statistically, I should have gotten it at least twice. Is this a bug? What the hell is going on?!

This isn't a tech issue nor is this a bug. RNG is RNG.
Is the item 6 socketed? Chances are you just missed it 5 linking if you were spamming fusings. Why not just use the crafting bench...it's there for a reason. Yes its a 6 socket item. I have not discovered craft recipe for linked sockets. Regardless, I should be able to spam orb it if I want, yes? Either way should work. So after thousands, why not a 5 link? I mean statistics is statistics. I should be able to get to a 5 link after thousands of orbs.

Harvest 5l craft is very common... Some 5l itens are less than 5 chaos... 5l delve recipe takes a while to find.
5l is so common you can ask someone to do i for you for free. Unless you're in SSF almost everybodu can help you or you can help youserlf. " No, those statistics are stated no where. It is said under players that its roughly 1200 fusings for a 6L, so maybe less for a 5L. But it is still RNG. You can spend another thousand and get the same result. In all honesty, if you spend thousands of orbs, which implicts that you spend atlast 2k fusings on a item, you exaggerate a little. There is a prophecy that let you 5link a item with a single jewel's orb. Those prophecies cost around 20-30 chaos. After 500 fusings common sense should have taken hold on you and you looked for either buying a 6L Plegde of the market, or search for a the prophecy. |

My Ivory tower took under 250 fusings to 6 link, but the starforge before that was over 1000 and the 6-link before that was over 2000.
It's always a gamble - but it doesn't help that the 6link recipe is in primeval ruins. If I hadn't had unlocked 6link before betrayal, it wouldn't have been till delirium that I had actually unlocked the recipe in league. Yep, totally over league play.

The Jeweller's Touch prophecy is going for about 7c right now.
It's good to be aware of all your options and the risks of each. Yes, if you actually spent thousands of fusings with no link, that's crap rng, but it's also well within the realm of possibility in a game with this many players. Assuming the statistical average is the maximum it will take is a mistake a lot of folks make. Or assuming it can't take much more than the average. |
