Spellslinger attack speed breakpoint vs variable attack speed (e.g. Corpse Pact)

How do you guys handle awkward Spellslinger attack speed breakpoint issues with variable attack speed like when you have Corpse Pact allocated as a Necromancer? I feel like, for QOL purposes, it'd be best to work it so that the highest Attack Speeds I generally reach in combat should have .43-0.44 attack time or slower (my Spellslinger's currently at .42 cooldown), but then that just makes my attacks feel "sluggish" with ~0.60 attack time before getting ramped up by Corpse Pact.

Do you guys go for faster attack speed and try to just manually delay each attack with perfect Spellslinger timing?

I hear some people get around it by using Barrage, but unfortunately I'm a hipster and I rely on Power Siphon for power charge generation, so I'd rather not swap to Barrage if possible. Maybe Barrage Support, but I like the spread and feel of default Power Siphon.

You want to use Barrage Support, not Barrage the skill. The timing mechanics work completely different with Spellslinger. As far as I know you can link Barrage Support with Power Siphon.
Ugh, just tested Barrage Support and the trigger rate is even lower than before. Yuck.
