Alas, that's the right answer. You bought a low-level version of the weapon, which do not allow it to have more socket than intended. In your case, 3 sockets.
You can, of course, solve this: Crafting bench can turn this item into a 5-socket for 70 jeweller's orb, and into a 6S for 350. After that, you'll have to 6-link it as usual. You can find recipes for 5-socket and 6-socket while Delving Also, if you are playing Harvest, you can set that item's sockets and make it 5L quite easily without even resorting to Tier2 seeds. Though, I'll say. Whoever hoarded a Last One Standing set of divCard at that level was in desperate need of money... |

" I didn't even know that endgame items with such a low item level exist. Forgive my ignorance :) So the crafting bench can increase the number of sockets regardless of iLvl? " So that's how this abomination was created (btw this happened in Harvest, not Standard)? Last edited by erazor2018#3233 on Jun 30, 2020, 2:20:51 PM

you have a set of divination card, you have a lv 24 character. Two ingredient to create this
Also i guess he was meant to decrease the ilvl for vaaling This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. About the username: Did you know Kowloon Gundam is made in Neo Hong Kong?

" Yup. It's also one way you can do odd shenaningans like reforging sockets and links of a Tabula Rasa, if you really want. Benchcrafting ignores ILvl and will set any number of sockets/link, provided you have the currency (and the Vaals, if you are doing this on a corrupted item), for the recipe " Good call, did forget about that little trick for limiting possible vaal outcomes |

or insane luck from the void card

I learned so many things from this thread:
1. Endgame-only item can appear as low iLvl using Div cards 2. The purpose of forcing the iLvl low was to influence vaaling outcomes But why he decided to sell it before vaaling it then? |
![]() |
" Careful with 1). DivCards with a generic unique outcome description (Jack in the Box, The Battle-Born, The Gentleman, The Wretched...) can yield League-Exclusive items (respectively, any league-exclusive item you can think, The Harvest, Edge of Madness, Headhunter), but cannot yield uniques or league-exclusive uniques that have drop restrictions, like: 1) All Perandus uniques, since they could only be sold from Cadiro or found in Perandus boxes 2) Pieces of Harbinger Uniques, since they only drop from the Beachhead's last encounter 3) Everything that drop only from a specific boss, like Rigwald, Atziri, Shaper, Elder, UberElder, all Guardians, all Synthesis, Conquerors and Sirus... 4) Legion-exclusive items, since they only drop from certain members of certain factinos In other words, think of them like going in a map with all Leagues activated, a white item, a Trash to Treasure prophecy and an Orb of Chance, just with the "white item" being a generic astraction of the item (belt, helmet, weapon), and not an actual base item. There are, however, some exception for the 1) with card that specifically yield that drops (Varunastra, Seven-League, Trypanon, Perandus Manor) and 3) (Starforge, Voidforge, Atziri's Disfavour...) As for "Why selling it before vaaling it", it's for the same reason one would sell a non-corrupted Tabula Rasa, Drillneck or Hand of the High Templar: because you want to put on the market a "pure" version of that item, which is way more scarce than the "corrupted" ones. If a corrupted, with implicit, Drillneck could be worth 1c, a non-corrupted one could be worth 5c , for example. Last edited by Maxtrux#0762 on Jul 1, 2020, 2:35:11 AM
