"Disconnected from patching server before patching completed"

I was having a problem with this error this morning when trying to do a fresh install. I was having a bunch of random crashes so I decided I needed to do a fresh install. I uninstalled the game via "Add/Remove Programs," and manually deleted the folder in My Games (that normally contains item filters, screenshots, etc.).

I then redownloaded the installer from the PoE website and kept constantly getting this error. "Disconnected from patching server before patching completed." I tried running as admin, restarting computer... few different things with no luck.

I then uninstalled the game again, and manually deleted the entire "Grinding Gear Games" folder from Program Files. I restarted the process and everything is working great now. I just wanted to make a topic because I did a search after encountering the error and saw quite a few topics on this matter, but none that I saw included this fix.

TLDR; Uninstall game, manually delete "Grinding Gear Games" folder from Program Files, as well as "Path of Exile" folder from My Games. Reinstall, launcher should work perfectly.
