Frostbite/Flammability/Conductivity and Elemental Weakness?
Hey all, I'm doing a tri-curse build and I was just wondering if the elemental resistance debuffs do stack between one of those element-based curses and elemental weakness.
Suppose I have a level one Frostbite and level one Elemental Weakness on the same target, would it stack and give it -60 cold res (in addition to -30 fire, -30 lightning)? Or would the "stronger" one take precedence? Again, this is accounting for having a double/triple curse build so I can have more than one curse on the target. I am just wondering whether the debuffs actually stack. Thanks in advance for any responses. Last edited by nakieon#1699 on Mar 24, 2013, 10:14:37 PM

Hey there nakieon,
I was wondering the same thing. According to this thread they do stack, but I don't know if that is accurate. I guess I'll find out when I try it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. |

They do stack although the initial curse is the most effective one versus high resist enemies.

I do believe they stack. Multi curses is OP fun; Enfeeble, Temp Chains and your choice of weakness equals easymode.
We tested it extensively

" If an enemy had 75% resistance it would just be (75-30-30) = 15% fire resist. they are additive not multiplicative so it doesnt matter what order they are done in. The bigger concern is probably wasted time/mana casting extra curses. Unless its to pacify a particularly troublesome boss (like piety) with idk temporal chains and enfeeblement or something. having the dual curse ring is pretty handy for times like that. Most things die so fast with a single elemental reduction curse though taking the time to cast a 2nd curse is probably better spent using your attack skill. |
