Vulkan and intel graphics?
I've seen a lot of fuss in global about vulkan not working for intel GPU's
I tried to try vulkan with my intel gpu and it just crashes the game will poe 2 be vulkan mainly and will i be able to play it with an intel gpu the way i do now? im asking because my game performance went down to absolute shit the last weeks, if i change a head mtx for example, the game never loads the new appearance until i restart the game, and the load screen isnt longer for me, but once i get into an instance, its loading shapes for a long time, then black shapes appear and textures come in much later, no other game has had performance issues with this computer. What? Are you crazy? It's either Nvidia or AMD gpu. The built in gpu on any Intel cpu is garbage for playing any game which needs lots of video processing, and PoE is not very efficient so it needs all the gpu horsepower it can get so Intel is just bad. I wouldn't even use the AMD gpu integrated in a Ryzen II cpu. You have to have a dedicated video card. My Nvidia 1060 AMP! (6 GB) works well but it too can get 100% used by PoE at times so I wouldn't go with anything lower.
I can routinely get 200 fps on an older 2nd generation Xeon E5-2667 cpu because it has 8 cores and 16 threads. That coupled with 16 MB of 1833 DDR3 ram in a quad-channel link to the cpu running Windows 10 Pro and my Geforce 1060 AMP! is a nice combination to run PoE on. But I wouldn't go any lower on hardware. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat: www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2247070 |

Do you have any information on wether poe2 will be compatible with intel graphics or not? this thing about what i should buy is really out of place lol, if you wanna have a chat about your strong feelings on the matter add me in game, ill be glad to listen to you.

" You're trying to play on a computer that has integrated graphics. That is the core problem. |

" Look, we're many fans of the game who simply can't afford the upgrade. Personally I've been studying for five years and am currently looking for work, so I hoped Vulkan would allow me to join in already for this league and not have to quit once I reach like red tier maps because of constantly dying to crazy stutters. The Vulkan bug with Intel Graphics has been included in the "Known bugs"-list for a month now, so my hope was that it would at least be fixed by now, which it unfortunately hasn't been. I'm aware of my circumstances and completely fine with playing with crazy low settings just to get a frame rate that stays at least above 10 fps, because I love the game that much. Then the game is at least playable, and it is playable up until the late game where the processor load is just too much. So I don't agree. The core problem isn't playing on integrated graphics, the core problem is that Path of Exile has a crazy processor load due to poor optimisation, which GGG are currently trying to fix (bless them). Other similarly aged games with the same issues have successfully implemented low-level APIs to allow them to run really smoothly even on my laptop, and that's why I've been so stoked about Vulkan coming to PoE, and why I am so disappointed that it's still not working. " They will likely transition to Vulkan more over time to allow for better performance. I'm also playing on Intel Graphics, and the issue isn't with Intel processors as they support Vulkan, but rather with how the Path of Exile client interacts with the Intel drivers, or something like that. People playing om AMD integrated graphics are not experiencing the same issue so. |

Guys, its intel integrated graphics. Even if they make game stable, that graphic card would still be to weak to play the game.
Also dont expect from GGG to make miracle, a lot depends also on intel and they drivers. Every dedicated graphics card is better then integrated, not to mention intels integrated card. Intels graphics cards are not meant for playing games. Yes, they can run games but are not meant to be use that way. |

Dont turn this into a lecture about how to spend your parents money or an intel vs amd/nvidia contest, its not.

I don't know if u already thought about it, but why don't you try Nvidia Now (it is 5.5$ a month) it works very very good? I'm using it on an 7 year old laptop and as long as u have 50mbps+ internet speed its great!

POE is more and more CPU and GPU intensive.
If you are poor, sorry, may be Titan Quest , D2 Grim Dawn is for you. Even i had Nvidia 650 it was laggy. So i invest 2060 but turn out now my DDR3 and Intel 4440 (and potato 250 GB HDD) lagging me.... This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee.
