Damage conversion and Life Leech

If a node says Leach x% of physical attack damage as life but I have converted all of my physical damage to fire... will I leach?

I would think not, but we also maintain damage bonuses through conversion (ie +physical damage)

No, I learned this last league when my Jugg went avatar of fire.
But there are leech rings for fire damage, and mana as well on the tree.
Let me phrase that better, I got a ring with % fire damage leeched as life and anointed an attack damage leeched as mana on my ammy. Essence Sap
Just a small work around. and the more damage you do, the less of a percent you need.

You can use more generic "Attack Leech%" (not specified as physical leech) for elemental attack damage. You can also find sources of generic attack leech on cluster jewels as well, most attack based jewels have it.

yea exactly that, keep an eye for baran, drox or redeemer jewellery for the respective element.

Other possibility for getting ele/chaos attack damage leech is annoing blood drinker, that node gives also 8% increased life and does not require a gold oil but just a silver oil
