Visual glitch with glowing MTX
My cosmetics randomly enter a state when their glow effects become oversized and wobble around their origin point. Examples below.

This has mostly happened in Azurite Mine, but also in various other locations, including Waste Pool, Primordial Blocks, and an Ossuary-themed Vaal side area. I mean it's funny and sometimes looks cool (I love that Betrayal halo), but still this probably shouldn't happen. Let me guess - you're using a cwdt guard skill that applies a shield effect, like steelskin or arcane cloak (or the necro's bone armour)?
Yeah, old bug. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

I use self-cast Arcane Cloak, but I've checked if it triggers the bug and it doesn't. Unless it's only sometimes.

" It is arcane cloak, I can guarantee it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTtMwyPoF9w The glitch you're describing is visible from the very beginning of my video. Some body armours, especially MTX ones, have light sources in the center of them, hidden behind model textures. Other sets also have various added effects around the MTX set, e.g. Empyrean has flowing light effects. Guard skills like the ones I mention here tend to also grab the light source and those effects, and apply the buff effect to them too, causing the visual bug. Not sure what set you're using, but I can bet there's a hidden light source in the center of your armour piece. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.
