Orb of Transmutation -

What can I do with them? Should I just vendor them for 4 scrolls? (Whats the best way of getting scrolls, I need a lot of them)
Can I trade them for sth better?

they are worth less as an item than they are in scrolls.. sell for scrolls

Okay, and what exactly can I do with Orb of Augumentation?
Transmutation and Augumentation are the only Orbs which I got too much and dont know what to do.

save them for when u get to maps

keep a good supply of augmentation orbs, and turn all the exess into alterations. turn your transmuation orbs into augmentations(then into alterations) if you have too much as well.

also, fun fact, a transmutation orb is worth 21 wisdom scrolls, so it's usually a bad idea to vendor a transmutation orb, unless you're in dire need for scrolls.

edit: all of these orb/scroll conversions can be done in act 1 normal with Nessa.

Thanks for this post.. I've actually been vendoring 100s of transumation orbs for my ID scroll needs. How exactly do you get 21 wisdom scrolls from one transmuation orb?

You just need a few stacks to fix maps rigth?

Trade everything else of the crap orbs to fusing?

Since you think a transmutation orb is worth 21 scrolls, you wouldn't mind selling me some scrolls then, right (840 scrolls per trans stack)? Just because that's the price the vendor would charge you for a transmutation orb doesn't mean that's the price.

In Invasion, people pay 1c for around 160 scrolls of wisdom or 40 transmutes, so you can safely convert them to scrolls of wisdom.

There is almost no trade in augmentations, so you can convert excess ones to alts if needed.

Alts go for around 20:1, which is about in line with the vendor rates for jewellers and fusings as well as their ratios to chaos.

Converting transmutes to alts via augmentations is inefficient (I think 8 transmutes for 1 alt) compared to the roughly 2:1 ratio from trade.
