Can I chance Maligaro's Virtuosity?

If yes, can I do it in the hideout? Or is it only in the map? If so, how to do it

Yes I see that it is a Legion item, how do I chance it? You didn't answer my question with your cheeky sigh

TL:DR; you cannot chance Maligaro's Virtuosity nor any other Legion-exclusive content, even if you are in a map with Legion active.

For some reason, HarukaTeno's link do not work on my end. I'll try it again

Back on topic, while once Maligaro's Virtuosity was a non-restricted Drop, it became Legion-Exclusive. More specifically, it is a drop that can only be granted from an enemy of the Templar legion. This bypasses the rule "open a league-influenced map to get that map's league content even by chancing".

The rule of thumb when using a Orb of Chance is that you can only chance items that are in your drop table - which means they must be items that you could find by slaying non-unique monsters or opening chests and clickables in the area.
The chance for an Orb of Chance to turn an item into a Unique is the same chance you have to actually drop that item (this explains why chancing a Onyx Amulet will more probably yield Eye of Chayula than Astramentis, since the former is more common than the latter)

As for the rest of the "List of Cool Items I cannot Chance", I'll quote myself back from the "Can I Chance a Cortex" topic of literally 4 days ago:

Yes, it's a "super duper special item" like Atziri's Acuity, thus cannot be chanced.

As a matter of fact, are "Super duper special items that cannot be chanced" the following items:
- Anything that can be dropped only from a specific boss, no matter if it can only be found in a League content. Some examples are:
> Atziri drops (Acuity, Disfavour...)
> Atzoatl drops (Sacrificial Heart, String of Servitude...)
> Shaper drops (Dying sun, Starforge...)
> Elder drops (Watcher's Eye, Shimmerion...)
> Uber Elder drops (Voidforge, Indigon...)
> Delve drops (Doryani's Machinarium, Aul jewellery...)
> Venarius/Memories drops (Circles, Storm's Gift...)
> Pale council members drop (Mind of the Council, Eber's Unification...)
> Bestiary bosses drop (Farrul's Might, Fenumus' Toxin...)
> Vessel of Vinktar, since it drops only from Vinktar's Square boss

- Perandus content (Perandus manor, Varunastra). This is a very specific exception to the "league-influenced map chancing", because Perandus items were either granted by Perandus himself or found into Perandus chests - they didn't actually dropped, thus had not a chance to be found that could be used from an Orb of Chance

- League-exclusive content (minus Perandus content as aforementioned) which is not tied to that League's bosses (Death's rush, Valako's Sign, Headhunter...).
> This can be bypassed by opening a Map which is influenced by a League modifier. For example, opening a Map with Zana's mod "Nemesis" (not an "Antagonist's" Map, which just gives rare monsters a Nemesis mod) will actually add to your drop table, only inside that map, Headhunter and thus it can be chanced/dropped

Thank you, that was a curious read! Will try to remember
Does the divination card "The Betrayal" still work although it was introduced back when there was still the pre-Legion-version of the gloves?
Overwhelmed by Path of Exile? You might want to have a look at Wrecker_of_Days' beginner-friendly guides. One-click-wonders that do not require any specific items to conquer the campaign and the Atlas: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2606288/page/1
Yes, the card set works.
The cards are extremely rare so if you were thinking of farming them: don't. I'm almost lv100 and I found a grand total of 3 cards. The first one came from a stacked deck so really only 2 dropped ever. You're better off just buying the gloves outright.

This item is restricted to areas with the league flag for Legion active.
There are additional ways to acquire league-restricted items, see League-specific items for more details.

Chancing or using Ancient Orb in a map crafted with the corresponding map mod using Zana's Map Device. For example, Headhunter in a map crafted with Zana's Nemesis mod.
