Curse Enemies with Vulnerability on Hit Gloves

Just got corrupted gloves that grant "curse Enemies with Vulnerability on Hit". I had been using vulnerability with blasphemy support and could see the vulnerability symbol above monsters when I hit them. Since switching to the gloves I no longer see the symbol but is the curse still being applied? I'm running a cyclone champion.

When using Blasphemy, the curse is automatically applied to the monsters in range, because it makes the curse work as an aura.
With a "on hit" modifier, you have to hit the monsters at least once to apply the curse, and it's applied for a limited duration.
