Can we stop POE Trade Market Manipulation?

Why can't we make it so when you list something at a price it get's to be bought at that price online or offline - instead of people posting stuff at low prices but not selling, just driving down the market on that item so they can snipe it and resell it later. I'm not butthurt about not being able to get something at a price butttttt I can't find an item because the first 50 listings are fake and it makes it harder to sell for the same reason.

having fixed prices you have to sell the items for has the disadvantage of sellers underbidding each other.

if there are fake sellers, nobody really knows the real conversion rate or price for items.

it also makes trading more interesting, but sadly most players already fail the intelligence test on the lowest level when it comes to not taking the cheapest offer because of fake sellers.


it's like players expect some trading system and treat the current system like they think it works.

would be interesting to throw them into water and see if they still keep breathing while slowly sinking down to the ground because they still could breath in the other system.

Automated trade would completely REMOVE fake prices. Anything listed could be bought immediately at the listed price.

The short answer is no. What you are asking for is basically an auction house, and GGG will never do that.

Even if you could somehow make false listings not work the scummy turds that do that stuff would just find some other way to try to game the system.

Shenanigans is the currency trading model.

I can't tell you how long I'll go without rather than deal with this currency trading system.
