Hello,
I have completed this 3 times without being affected by devouring darkness and have not got the completion. It doesn't come up with failed during the encounters either (but I have not intentionally stepped let a devouring darkness hit me). Last bumped on Apr 13, 2020, 11:50:01 AM

Same here, no error message when failed, no achievement when succesful

the ghosts that come out of the pool also apply devouring darkness along with the trail they leave behind. Trail last 3 seconds.

Have been doing more runs and still having this problem.
Just re-iterating that I'm not getting the fail message still as well. |

What tier are you trying this on? I found that I'm only getting the completion notices on red maps, not white or yellow.

well, and what exactly is devouring darkness? What an amazing achievment. Just clusterfuck coming from everywhere and I have no clue which of them has a name, no way to find this on web. Is it that shit when he smash the ground with hand? or some dark nonsense moving randomly, or shit from heart, or exploding something, or something else? no fail message so I could learn from a mistake (doing T15 A8 Belfry)

" The devouring darkness is the portal / ground effect created by his hand put into the ground. You have to avoid that completely, and also all the things coming out of that in some directions. Regarding map tiers, I did it on a T3 map on the current patch, avoiding the stuff written above. All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player. So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this.
