Cortex Boss drops nothing

hey! killed the cortex boss today, which was neat. unfortunately he dropped nothing at all? Pushed alt, no items. Turned off the loot filter, no items.
He died while I was dead (bleeding out from puncture) and I got the challenge progress for killing venarius.  Not quite sure why this happened, but rip cortex Last bumped on May 2, 2020, 2:17:52 PM

Same happened to me. Dead while my brand killed the boss. Nothing dropped.

Same here. Storm brand killed boss just after I died. No loot and not possible to exit back out to clear the rest of the map either. Rip 6 Ex :(

Just happened to me as well.
Sucky way to end a 6ex map. I exited during the map device animation at the end, not sure if things would have been different if I sat on the floor for the entire animation. |

Died too, no loot either after going back in.

Don't click respwn immediately when the death animations of the boss (the map device) was playing.....simple common sense.
