Garb of the ephemeral on animate guardian

Hello,

Has anyone tried using Garb of the ephemeral on an Animated guardian with a non-minion based build (e.g. with only 3 or 4 gem slots)? Is there any way to make the Animated guardian tanky and virtually unkillable using a Kingmaker and Garb of the Ephemeral simultaneously?

It’s going to be expensive in other investments. You’ll want to socket a L21 AG into a +2-3 helm socketed probably link it to Meat Shield, Minion Life, and Elemental Army. It will also help if you have a +2 to spell skill gems craft in your weapon. Other gear will also need to amplify AG’s regenerative abilities.

I’d certainly check on PoB first though.

Edit: You should be able to drop Elemental Army as long as you make sure to give him at least 35% all elemental resistance. His default is +40% elemental and +20% chaos resistances.

Right now, I have AG + Minion life + Meat shield + Empower, but I have the Mask of the stitched demon with an armor with 10% life as energy shield and this saves the day. I wonder how to sustain some life regeneration using only the boots, the gloves (given that there is something better than Southbound in terms of survivability for AG) and the helm (given that the combo with this mask is not possible anymore).
