Leveling Skill for Blade Vortex Trickster?

This League I wanted to try Zizaran's suggested Blade Blast Blade Vortex Trickster as my starter build. I've played blade Vortex Blade Witch in Betrayal League and enjoyed it quite a lot. However, I'm having pretty rough start. Ziz's build suggests switching to Blade Vortex as leveling skill at level 12, but for some reason it doesn't work for me - I don't deal enough damage, struggle at bosses, recasting the skill eats up a lot of mana and doesn't last too long. Not sure what the problem is, but maybe someone could suggest me some other strong leveling skill for the Shadow to get me through the acts so that I can switch to Blade Vortex at endgame? " It will get better as you (and the gem) level :) For now, I'd consider leveling with freezing pulse for a while. However, you can make give yourself a bit of a boost by adding lightning damage to spells to your wands. Use an orb of transmutation on your wands (doesn't matter what you get), then sell them to a vendor with a topaz ring and an orb of alteration. You'll be surprised how much dps that will add. |
